Technology with a business purpose

Security tools need people, processes, and follow-through

Buying another security product does not resolve unclear responsibilities, weak access controls, or alerts that nobody owns. Your business needs a coordinated approach that connects safeguards to the way people actually work.

PCC helps you understand the gaps, prioritize the work, and bring security into ongoing IT management. The goal is a more consistent approach to reducing risk, with clear responsibilities and realistic expectations.

A practical approach

Protection that fits the way you work

Effective security includes the technology your employees use, the information they access, and the decisions your leadership team makes.

  • Layered safeguards. Coordinate protections across devices, accounts, email, and web activity.
  • Employee awareness. Help people recognize suspicious requests and know how to report concerns.
  • Clear ownership. Define who reviews security information and who acts when an issue needs attention.
  • Practical priorities. Focus improvements on your environment and business needs.

Where PCC can help

A Coordinated Approach to Cybersecurity

Your proposal defines the services, deliverables, and responsibilities included in the engagement.

Endpoint Protection

Help protect managed computers with endpoint security controls and attention to device configuration and updates.

Microsoft 365 Security

Review account protection, access, and security settings for the Microsoft 365 environment your business relies on.

Security Monitoring

Bring monitoring and review into the agreed service scope, with defined responsibilities for investigating and escalating issues.

Employee Security Awareness

Support employee learning through security awareness training and phishing simulations, as defined in your service plan.

Account and Access Security

Strengthen practices around passwords, multifactor authentication, privileges, and employee access changes.

Security Planning

Identify priorities, document responsibilities, and connect security improvements with backup, recovery, and wider IT planning.

What this means for your business

Better visibility. More informed decisions.

Know what needs attention

A clearer picture of gaps helps leadership decide where to focus effort and spending.

Reduce disconnected work

Coordinating support and security helps teams understand ownership and next steps.

Build more consistent habits

Ongoing attention helps security become part of daily operations rather than an occasional project.

Shared expectations matter

Is PCC the Right Fit?

A useful engagement starts with agreement about the problem, the scope, and who will act on the next steps.

PCC may be a strong fit if your business:

  • Operates in the Bay Area and wants an ongoing technology relationship
  • Wants cybersecurity integrated into IT management
  • Is willing to adopt consistent security and access standards
  • Needs practical explanations of risks and recommended actions

This may not be the right fit if your business:

  • Wants a guarantee that an incident can never happen
  • Only wants a compliance certificate without the underlying work
  • Does not want to address known weaknesses or unsupported systems
  • Needs emergency incident response without first confirming PCC’s availability and scope

Cybersecurity Services FAQ

Is cybersecurity included in PCC’s managed IT services?

Cybersecurity is part of PCC’s managed IT approach. Your proposal defines the specific controls, covered systems, services, and responsibilities. A separate project may be needed to address gaps before ongoing management begins.

Can PCC help if we already have security tools?

We begin by understanding what is installed, how it is configured, who monitors it, and how issues are handled. Recommendations depend on that review and on the scope of the proposed relationship.

Does multifactor authentication stop every attack?

No. Multifactor authentication is one important layer, but it does not remove the need for secure configurations, employee awareness, monitoring, and appropriate access controls.

Can PCC guarantee we will not have a security incident?

No provider can eliminate every risk. We focus on agreed safeguards, clear responsibilities, and ongoing management to help reduce exposure and improve preparedness.

Does a security review certify compliance?

A security review is not automatically a compliance certification or a guarantee of insurance eligibility. Any regulatory, contractual, or insurer requirements need to be identified and assessed within an explicitly agreed scope.

How do we get started?

Tell us about your business, current IT provider or internal team, and the concerns you want to address. We will determine whether PCC is a suitable fit and discuss the scope and cost of any next step.
