Dispatcher / Service Coordinator

As a dispatcher, you will be working directly with several members on our team. You will be responsible for accepting, handling, and routing service requests. You will need to frequently communicate with our technical team as well as clients and vendors to coordinate a quick satisfactory problem resolution.

A candidate with an interest in technology will be more successful in this position.

This is a full time position in Novato.

Responsibilities

- Create trouble tickets

- Monitor and Dispatch tickets to support engineers

- Answer telephone calls and assist walk-in clients

- Schedule and coordinate vendor support

- Schedule service calls with clients

- Ensure customer satisfaction through frequent communication and follow-ups

- Convert tickets into invoices & send to client

- Close communication with other teams in the company

- Run errands as needed: UPS, FedEx, Bank, Store, etc.

- Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned by the Office Manager

- Perform administrative duties as assigned

Required Skills & Experience

- Technical background and/or experience strongly preferred

- Customer support, dispatching experience is strongly preferred

- Knowledge of Office Suite (Excel, Word, etc.)

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

- Ability to quickly and efficiently enter data

- Ability to type 45+ wpm

- Attention to spelling and grammar accuracy an absolute must

- Telephone experience (multi-line phone system)

- Excellent communication skills in English: write, listen, and speak

- Strong organizational, priority and time management skills with ability to multitask

- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment

- Applicant must have reliable transportation

 

This is a full-time position. This is an in-person position.
